Day three of the Youth Icicle brought with it stronger breeze (yay) but also rain (boo). Forty-seven boats started race five, under Uniform and the watchful eye of race officer Rory Moppett.

After a week that saw the east coast battered by huge waves and high winds that left the Dart track under water, Sunday 8th February dawned with grey skies but, an elevated temperature that crept into double figures, and dry conditions.
