There were ten takers in the Solo fleet for the third race of the Salcombe Yacht Club Sailing Club Series, numbers slightly down perhaps due to the forecast strong East North Easterly breeze, which never really transpired.

The final act of the Pallas Capital Gold Cup will be held this weekend at Royal Prince Alfred Yacht Club, with the 2026 series set to be decided in a closely contested finale.

It was a bank holiday weekend to remember at Ripon Sailing Club (May 3rd & 5th), where the water was just as busy as the clubhouse. The weather treated us to some sunshine and typical Farnham fickle winds, but the enthusiasm on the water was undeniable.

The Royal Thames Yacht Club treated the class to four excellent races on a really interesting race course on the Solent.
