Arriving at an Osprey open meeting is always an uplifting experience because of the greeting from fellow Osprey sailors – many have a tale to tell of something that happened the week or night before that was likely to impact their sailing performance.

The weekend of 18/19th July welcomed 23 Flying Fifteens to Bass at its glorious best. The sun was shining, the water was sparkling, the hills provided a stunning backdrop to the scenery, and the wind was blowing 5-10 mph from the Northeast.

Six visitors joined the three local boats for the second leg of the North West double header of the Lightning 368 Sanders Sails Travellers Series at West Kirby Sailing Club.
