After five days of competitive but fun racing on the spectacular waterway of Port Stephens and its offshore islands, the final results are in and the divisional winners are celebrating.

Delph SC in Bolton held its ILCA Open meeting, hosting the new Northern Youth Circuit. A strong turnout of 42 competitors from clubs stretching from Yorkshire to the Lancashire coast gathered at Delph Sailing Club on Saturday 18th April.

The seventeen sailors who turned out for this second Jack Turner Trophy IOM Open, arrived to find a decent westerly breeze nearly straight down the lake and some sunshine starting to show.

Sporty conditions with shifting winds greeted the thirteen boats in the third race of the West Offshore Products Coastal Sprint on Bass Strait, with Ginan winning overall on AMS.

Blairgowrie Yacht Squadron has again hosted the BYS Women’s Sportsboat Regatta in 2026. It was held over the weekend of 21-22 March, and continues to demonstrate the growing strength, depth and leadership of female sailors.
