The 2026 Women’s World Match Racing Tour kicked off yesterday in Rungsted, Denmark on the opening day of the KDY Women’s Match Race, the first of five events on the 2026 Women’s world tour season.

Germany hosted the first round of the European 18ft Skiff circuit over the 30th April-3rd May with two UK teams making the trip out to join the action.

The first event of the series was held at Loch Earn Sailing Club as part of their Spring Fling regatta. The forecast wasn’t promising with light winds predicted yet the race officer did well to get 6 scheduled races in over the weekend.
