After a 15-year absence, the Fireball fleet returned to Yorkshire Dales Sailing Club for the 2026 WinderMark Fireball Inland Championship, where dramatically contrasting conditions produced a memorable weekend at Grimwith Reservoir.

Saturday 12th September at Lymington Town Sailing Club for the Allspars SW Series saw some strong breeze in a Solent south-westerly with around 22-24 knots over the race course.

After a busy summer of racing many Norfolk Punt sailors had used up all their sailing ‘Brownie Points’, with some punts undergoing repairs and younger teams returning to university, it was a smaller, but select fleet.
