World Sailing is proud to announce that the 2027 World Sailing Nations Cup will be held in Cherbourg, France, at the Yacht Club de Cherbourg.

Following the successful start of the Series at Northampton SC a week earlier, the young sailors in the circuit met at Middle Nene SC in Thrapston (Northants) for the next of seven rounds on Saturday, 25th April 2026.

After the first day was cancelled due to a lack of wind, a keen group of RS600 sailors hit the water for 6 scheduled races in a marginal trapezing breeze.

The 2026 Ocean Fifty class season officially opens today with the first races in Sainte-Maxime. From April 29th to May 2nd, coastal and offshore crewed races will take place in the Gulf of Saint-Trope.
