Sunday 10th August saw the 2025 Merlin Rocket Aspire National Championships kick off at the beautiful Cornish resort of Looe. The 47 teams arrived the previous day to complete registration and scrutineering.

Sunday saw the first races of the 2025 Keyhaven Regatta at Keyhaven Yacht Club, a small club at the western end of the Solent in the UK. It also happens to be where I do my sailing from!

Sailing on Thursday was not possible due to a combination of sea state and fog, as a result three races were scheduled for Friday with the first sound signal at 11.00.

As has become tradition, the Scottish and Northern Skiffs migrated to Chanonry Sailing Club on the beautiful Black Isle in early August for their most northerly circuit event.
