Nineteen boats signed up for the Flying 15 Open Meeting on the 25th & 26th and, despite force 1 forecasts, eighteen turned up on a bright and sunny day.

After a very successful Squib Gold Cup, held at the Royal Corinthian YC, the Royal Burnham Yacht Club is only 16 days away from the RBYC Whitsun Regatta to be held between 23rd and 25th May.

With the European Championship having been held in the UK in 2025 a lot of boats came out of sheds, garages and other hiding places to take part and it’s hoped that this interest will continue through 2026.

The Swiss Class40 No. 134 STELLA NOVA, skippered by Omar Naas and Louis Torreilles, crossed the southern Sardinia ranking gate in first place yesterday evening at 11:28 PM French time.

Entry for the 18th edition of the Taittinger Royal Solent Yacht Club Regatta (Friday 24th – Sunday 26th July), based in Yarmouth, Isle of Wight, opened on Wednesday 6th May.
