Registration is now open for the inaugural VX One World Championship, which will bring the world’s best VX One sailors to Miami, Florida, from 5 to 10 April 2027.

After Tuesday’s racing was cancelled due to a lack of wind, the 2026 Melges 24 European Championship returned in spectacular fashion on Wednesday. Four races were completed in strong winds and high waves, pushing the sailors and their boats to the limit.

August Bank Holiday weekend saw the RS Vareo fleet join the Bala Sailing Club August Regatta for three days of racing on Wales’ largest lake. This was event 4 for the 2026 RS Vareo Rooster National Tour.

The second instalment of the Rooster ILCA South Regional Youth series was hosted by Paignton Sailing Club (PSC) over the weekend of 29th and 30th August. Having promised glorious sunshine and English Riveria ‘après sail’ fun, the forecast looked grim.
