This weekend, hardy winter WASZP sailors travelled from across the country to gather at Rutland Sailing Club for the End of Season Christmas GP. While much of the UK was battered by wind and rain, Rutland delivered an excellent weekend of racing.

Close racing in all events at the World Sailing Inclusion Championships 2025, hosted by the Sultanate of Oman and organised by Oman Sail, ensured the fleets will head to the final day with everything to play for.

The weather gods were again not very kind for this weekend’s Illusion racing which was for the annual Picnic Hamper. Last year, there were 26 boats enjoying the relatively benign conditions.
