North Sails Cowes Week, the 200th anniversary, ended on Friday evening amidst the glitz and triumphs of the prize-giving while thousands of families, visitors, islanders and sailors witnessed the spectacular fireworks display.

Twenty-four hours into the 2026 RORC Round Britain and Ireland Race, the fleet is stretched along the English Channel and approaching the next major strategic test to round Land’s End and the Isles of Scilly.

The second Friday Series concluded, seeing 24 boats on the water racing in YTC and IRC in the gorgeous waters of Plymouth Sound. Whilst the weather was mostly light to middling, the fleets were lucky to not lose any races to the conditions.

The Cape 31 has added another major result to its growing list of successes, with Sönke Meier-Sawatzki’s Niramo claiming victory in Azulmarino ORC C at the 44th Copa del Rey MAPFRE in Palma.

ARC Team USA, the US challenger for the 2027 America’s Cup have announced an All-American line-up in their AC75 sailing squad. The team contains several mmebers of the American Magic AC75, Youth and Womens America’s Cup teams from Barcelona.
