Thirteen competitors arrived at Burghfield Sailing Club to find a good breeze down the lake allowing race officer, Dereck Lovegrove, to set a roughly figure of eight course with a long beat. The event was shared with the Lightning Inlands and Solo open.

Theo Westerlind added to Ficker Cup line-up
Swedish match racing skipper Theo Westerlind has been added to the line-up for the 2026 Long Beach Yacht Club Ficker Cup later this week, accepting his invitation in place of Lennard Bal of the Netherlands, who is unable to attend the event.
