The final day of Prince of Wales Week featured two very different races: one final series race to decide the overall standings, followed by the traditional Round Great Cumbrae Island Race, a spectacular standalone finale to the regatta.

A great turnout of 60 Supernovas ventured to Filey Sailing Club for the 30th Anniversary National Championship. We were welcomed by warm 22 degrees sunshine, a welcome break for those who travelled up from the South.

Final Day of Racing Decides Several Class Championships in Thrilling Sunday Showdown

Twenty-five sailors competing at the 24th C. Thomas Clagett, Jr. Memorial Clinic and Regatta and 2026 U.S. Para Sailing Championships have completed three days of racing which was preceded by a two-day coaching clinic.

Wind the clock back 4 years, the Bala SC long distance weekend struggled to top 30 boats, which is incredible when you think that our club sits on the longest lake in Wales which on the right day has the perfect SW straight up the lake.
