I recently had the chance to stream Mary Mazzio’s film, Mighty Mary, ahead of its September 11 debut. The film, which was narrated by Elizabeth Banks and Hugh Jackman, chronicles the first all-women’s team to compete in the America’s Cup defender trials.

Five visitors and four home boats went to the start line for the first start. On a restricted water like ours the start is very important, and from a clean start the fleet headed south on a dead beat.

Epic racing conditions welcomed the North Sails sponsored IRC National Championship fleet to the Dartmouth Sailing Week. Fruity breeze starting in the high teens catapulted to 30 plus knots for much of the regatta.
