The 2026 ILCA 6 Masters World Championship concluded on Sunday in Athens after a week of competitive racing across all age categories.

The Burnsco Elliott 5.9 Traveller Series moves north next weekend for Event #2, with the fleet assembling at Marsden Cove Marina over 13 – 14 June.

Rudyard Lake Sailing Club’s ILCA open for the Northern Series was held on Saturday 6th June. We welcomed the sailors with perfect wind conditions on the lake, a nice south-easterly with some strong gusts to give them added challenges.

This weekend we proudly hosted the 3rd RSC Foiling Festival! Although Saturday’s forecast looked far from ideal, it certainly didn’t stop sailors from visiting the club, nor did it deter members trying out a range of exciting foiling craft in the demos.
