Crown Estate Scotland’s Sustainable Communities Fund has opened for its seventh round of applications, offering grants to eligible grass-roots projects across Scotland.

Set against the majestic backdrop of Llyn Tegid, which with its balmy waters after the hot summer felt like North Wales’s very own Lake Como, Bala Sailing Club hosted an outstanding Bank Holiday Regatta from August 29th to 31st.

“Other than my ears still ringing from the hum of our new keel, we are very happy with the performance from the renovations of the boat, the race certainly lived up to the name, in those conditions it really was an adventure,” says Tom Dolan.
