Laurent Hay wins Spanish Open Finn Championship
Laurent Hay, from France, has won the Spanish Open Finn Championship in Ibiza, Spain. Christoph Burger, from Switzerland, took second with Xavier Penas from Spain in third. Penas won the Spanish Championship from David Terol and Alejandro Cardona.

Pantaenius Yacht Racing Image Award voting opens
120 yacht racing photographers representing 26 nations have submitted an image for photo contest dedicated to the sport of sailing. The top 20 images will be exhibited at Metstrade Amsterdam, and the prize-giving will take place on November 21.

400 Islands Race Preview : From Kiel via Læsø
The name ‘400 Islands Race’ alone suggests challenging ocean sailing. In fact, the race starts in Kiel, circles (almost) all of the Danish Baltic Sea islands and returns to Kiel.
