The 505 fleet at Hayling Island was once again greeted with near perfect conditions as they set out for Races 3 and 4 of the 2026 World Championships, sponsored by WIP, Ovington Boats and Allen.

What a day we had – superb 10-15 knot SW breeze, not a cloud in the sky, super warm temperatures and as stated by many other sailors over the years, the best Regatta tea in the harbour – perfect!

The event reached the halfway mark on Tuesday at Club de Vela La Ballena Alegre, with sailors once again greeted by brilliant sunshine, intense summer temperatures and conditions very similar to those experienced on the previous racing day.
