Thirty nine entries made Saturday’s Island Barn ILCA Open the largest of the Thames Valley Grand Prix series so far this year. The club worked hard to encourage all sailing levels to enter and the conditions made for a wonderful day’s racing in Surrey.

This Sunday afternoon, Team Malizia set sail on the fifth and final leg of The Ocean Race Europe 2025. At 15:00 local time, the crew onboard Malizia – Seaexplorer crossed the Leg 5 start line in Genova, Italy.

On Saturday 6th September, The Chase Sailing Club came together to celebrate a very special milestone – our 70th Anniversary Dinner and Dance at the Compass Suite in Aldridge.

After a lot of behind-the-scenes crew/helm pairing, negotiations and secrecy, the Yawl runners and riders appeared on the pontoon for round one of the Autumn Series.

Records were broken on this year’s Scottish Two Handed Race Round Arran by a spectacular performance by the multihull, Excalibur completing the 80 mile course in just over 8.5 hours, knocking almost 3 hours off the previous record.
